A New Perspective on the Kingdom of God

Even though many speak about the Kingdom of God, there is little clarity about how this should be worked out in practice. Teaching on this often remains stuck in theory. However, this book is written from an apostolic perspective. It sketches a clear, sharp and innovative picture of how this can be put into practice.

This book is unique because it brings four key items together.

  1. The message of the Kingdom of God

  2. The ecclesia that carries this message

  3. The apostle who leads this entity.

  4. The kings and priests who carry it out

These four are inextricably linked. This book describes how these four operate and how they are related. This description gives a completely new and surprising picture of the functioning of the fivefold ministry when placed in a setting of the Kingdom of God.

This book is not only theoretical but it also a book in which theory is described in practice. Dick has written this book in his role as an apostle and as a leader of an apostolic centre that functions as a new wineskin. The many practical examples make it easy to put the described material into practice in a contemporary environment.

Cindy Jacobs: “Dick Westerhof is a courageous pioneer who is a forerunner in the area of seeing God’s Kingdom in every aspect of society.”

Ché Ahn: “The Bigger Picture seamlessly unpacks this biblical call for a new wineskin in this new era.”

Jennifer LeClaire: “This is more than a book—it’s a blueprint for activating the body of Christ to walk in their Kingdom assignment with power and purpose.”

The Bigger Picture is written in easy-to-read language and is extremely suitable for anyone who wants to discover more about their personal calling and how it fits perfectly into the Kingdom of God.

    ""

DICK WESTERHOF studied civil engineering at Delft University of Technology. He has been self-employed in the IT sector. Dick and his wife Arleen are the founders and leaders of God’s Embassy Amsterdam. From this church the apostolic centre By Design was birthed. This has grown into an international community of ministries, churches and businesses.
